Mil Canciones Pluscuamperfectas (4): The Penis Song
Ya sé que dije que nada de tutubos en esta sección, pero qué demonios: esto está justificado por dos motivos. Primero, no tengo el mp3 a mano; segundo, como van a comprobar ahora mismo, imagen y sonido son dos espectáculos absolutamente indisociables en este caso.
Cuando Chili Temple, Lindyhomer y yo vimos La Cosa Más Dulce no esperábamos toparnos con la comedia romántica más rotundamente soez y necia de los noventa. Salimos del cine en ese estado de euforia que acompaña al descubrir una película insolentemente única, pero a la vez perfectamente respetuosa con los códigos que la arropan. Encuentros y desencuentros de treintañeras solteras, tomando como modelo parcial las chuminadas de Sexo en Nueva York, pero con sencillos y rotundos extras: propensión casi patológica a la procacidad por parte de las protagonistas y tendencia del guión a subrayar con indeleble de punta gorda cualquier gag relacionado con el sexo basto y el Sindrome de Peter Pan mal asimilado. Una joyita perfectamente resumida, por activa y por pasiva, en nuestra Canción Pluscuamperfecta de hoy: The Penis Song.
